WELCOME TO THE MASHROOMS
We've taken the concept of "liveroom" to a whole artists space -a music studio in a transformer house, a journey to another world, an art installation with a vision of music as a collage of layers and artists, highlighting all the humans that help a music piece exist.
This is where we work and live and collect moments of life. We are awarded audio visual artists & producers Strange Pill (Ben Hardy & Zahara Muñoz-Vicens). The Mashrooms is our home and a retrofuturistic, warm and inspiring audio visual music recording studio, a multi-room setup, specially built for recording live (live tracking) but not only.
Here you can record, rehearse, create & capture everything in a unique environment where kitchen, bedroom, sitting room and shed are audio visually connected, inviting you to enter another reality through a different approach to recording. Keep the rawness of your live performance and its organic exciting authenticity, combined with the flexibility and control of separate track recording to get high-end professional production.
With a long trajectory of recording hundreds of musicians for our visual sampling artistic projects, from grassroots to Trevor Horn to the New York Philharmonic, Kavus Torabi, Bumi Thomas, Tom Marsh, Aaron Horn, Mri Malachandar, The Chinese Music Ensemble, Ballin' Jacks, Black Bordello, Beatfox, Acantha Lang, Sophie Alloway, DJ Downlow, and many more.

At The Mashrooms, our mission is to provide you with a unique and innovative approach to music outputs alongside warm and professional recordings. With the use of video, livestreaming and our Interactive Video Machine you will be able to connect with current and further audiences wherever they are.
